Welcome to Winsbere House, Exmoor B & B accommodation at Dulverton. Dulverton is known as the southern gateway to the Exmoor National Park, 2 miles from the Devon/Somerset border, a short drive to Tarr Steps and Wimbleball Lake and only half an hour car journey to Exmoor's North Devon and West Somerset coast.

WINSBERE is surrounded by pretty gardens and country views with woodland at the back of the house where an abundance of woodland sounds including owls can be heard on a clear night. We are conveniently situated just a 10 minute stroll from the delightful Exmoor town centre of Dulverton and public transport passes the front gate. Winsbere is an ideal base from which to explore Exmoor Nat Park, North Devon and West Somerset.

We have 3 comfortable rooms:

Bedroom 1
is a large double ensuite room with double aspect windows furnished to a high standard, fully carpeted. It has lovely country views of Pixton Park, woodland and fields. Freesat Colour TV and Free wi-fi, clock radio, hairdryer and tea/coffee making facilities.
Bedroom 2 is a smaller double room with washbasin and high quality fitted wardrobes and carpet, with a private bathroom with bath/shower, just across the landing also with views of the garden and surrounding Exmoor countryside. Freesat Colour TV and Free wi-fi, clock radio, hairdryer and tea/coffee making facilities.

Bedroom 3 is a twin ensuite room again tastefully decorated with views of the garden and fields and woodland in the distance.
Freesat Colour TV and Free wi-fi, clock radio, hairdryer and tea/coffee making facilities.

Unlimited access to all rooms and all centrally heated.
The dining room looks over the garden and is tastefully decorated with Margaret’s personal touch. Guests have separate tables and a friendly, relaxed and informal breakfast is the norm. There is a choice of generous Full English Breakfast with local produce used where possible or just cereals, yogurt, fruit and toast. An excellent way to start the day for walking, riding, fishing, cycling or just exploring lots of hidden places on Exmoor by car.

Margaret and husband Richard were born on Exmoor of farming families so have a wonderful knowledge of the area and know all the secret places to visit on Exmoor.
Our Exmoor B & B is open all year (except Christmas and New Year), and we have a No Smoking Policy in the House (you may smoke in the garden). Children are welcome over 8 years old but sorry no dogs in the house. There is ample parking.
